The Ultimate Dance Embarrassment

This Past Saturday my mom hosted a Valentines day dinner for our family. We had a lovely prime rib dinner and we drank lots of champagne and strawberry juice. I like to call them "Heart-mosas" After a few drinks we set up the wii and that's when things started to get crazy. My family is pretty competitive, especially when it comes to the wii. My mom honestly thinks she has a part time job as a professional Wii bowler but that's another issue. I decided to try out the Michael Jackson game. Let me tell you it's so fricken fun. You have to get it.

Well Someone who I refer to as dad decided that he was THE BEST at this game or the best at dancing in general. He called "Thriller" of course. Don't worry....we have it all on video. Well I guess after a few of these

Someone got cocky and thought they could do this

And then claimed If they had the proper shoes and bobby socks they could do it.

(fail)

If this isn't embarrassing enough, he kept beating my score! I'm not really sure how this was happening. I came to the conclusion that I must have been holding the controller wrong but my dad seems to think it's that he wasted a bunch of money on dance lessons for me. So when the night ended he celebrated his huge victory and I thought this nightmare was all over and I would never have to hear about it again.

The next morning I wake up and the first thing he says to me "Morning Loser" Flexes his arms and then walks out the door.

Happy V-day!

Catch up

So I took a week off from my blog. I doubt anyone even noticed since this maybe one of the dumbest blogs out there. I thought I would catch everyone up to date on my life.

Last weekend I went to a hair show in long beach. If I learned anything from the convention it would be that Hair stylists can drink! If I needed anymore of a confirmation that I am in the right field that was it. Classes are really important cause it really gets you inspired and makes you want to push yourself even more in your business. All the classes were super fun, maybe cause everyone was drinking? It's ok, not like it's brain surgery! This one up-do class was so much fun. The teacher was hilarious. I hate up dos but he said that all you have to do is smile, pretend like you know what you're doing and say "OOooooo guuuuurl you are going look super fly at the club tonight!"

The new trend is Feather Hair extensions. You can flat iron or curl them. We're going to be doing them soon so get excited! I decided to put a few in my hair and make it subtle because I didn't want to look like an Avatar. Cute right?

I even got a little something for my dog Tigger!! Doesn't he look Hot!

Last Friday night I decided to stay in and watch a movie. I ended up watching Charlie St. Cloud. It's a little embarrassing how much I cried. I had to pause the movie at certain parts to pull myself together. Zac what the EF is wRONg may not be the greatest actor but he isn't so bad to look at. As if being home alone on a Friday night bawling my eyes out wasn't bad enough I ended up watching all the special features too. What....a loser. I thought the movie was good but I was a little surprised by the ended because I imagined it would have ended somehow like this:

Happy Monday!!

Random thought for the weekend.

I'm usually a pretty easy going person but there is one thing I will not tolerate, gingers. Haha Just Joking. I can't stand people who are always negative. People need to realize because they are choosing to have a bad day, which it happens but you are ruining the day for the other people around you. So why choose to have a bad day? Laugh it off. Sweat the small things. You woke up to a new beautiful day of life. Why waste it in a bad mood. It's amazing how if you are nice to people more than 90% of the time, they will be nice back unless they are Mel Gibson of course. Walk down the street, smile at strangers because maybe your smile can change that persons day. There is a simple solution to negativity, It's called surrounding yourself with good people and that's what I do. Everyday.

Wishing you all a great weekend.

Happy thoughts...
Happy Friday!!!

Thankful Thursday.

This Thursday I am thankful for photoshop. There is something about when you place someone's face over another persons body that is hilarious or even better, Place someone's body into the picture. Here are some pictures that just crack me up!

Bre and I going on a bike ride. Fear the helmet.

Big, Meaty, Rob and me. Death row.

The O'connell Family and their Half German sister.

Tye, Me and My brother Chris. Oktoberfest. Chris is a
phenomenal accordion player.

I know what you're thinking and Yes, we make
a great couple. Sadly, this picture is fake.

Give this kid an A

I thought this was pretty funny. Nice try kid.

"For every point you take off, this guy loses a limb!"

"I have a stick family! Give him what he wants!"

"He means business. Innocent stick people don't need to die!"

Excellent stick figure hostage negotiation! It's obvious that the stick figure with the axe means business, yet the teacher still marks it all wrong. I guess the teacher doesn't have any compassion for stick figures.

Go shorty, It's your birthday.

It's no secret that I LOVE birthdays. Not just my birthday, everyone on the planet. My favorite birthdays to celebrate is 21 and 50. Both can be celebrated at the same magnitude but there is a difference in the way you feel the next day. I wish I could just turn 21 every year. So I kind of make a big deal out of my birthday. It's not cause I'm excited about getting old, it's actually cause I loved throwing themed parties! Here is a look back on my past couple of birthdays.

Age: 22 Years old.
Theme: Babies of the 80s

Who doesn't love big hair and all the hits from the 80's? There was drinks, glow sticks, numerous dance battles and some ridiculous outfits. What a great night.

Age: 23 Years old
Theme: Theme-less but still fun

There was no theme to this birthday. It was just dinner and then all the girls went out after. If I had to choose a theme for this birthday it would be "Drunkness" This night I learned a pretty good life lesson. ALWAYS eat a big dinner before you go out. I decided to have soup for dinner that night and lets just say it didn't end up pretty. Thank goodness I decided to go with an up-do that night.

Who knew that this face:

Would end up here:

Age:24
Theme: Bar golf.

Bar Golf maybe the best thing since miniature golfing. Basically you dress up in amazing golf outfits then go on a pub crawl. Each bar is a hole and you drink in teams. After a few holes things can get a little crazy! My favorite part is how everyone is so competitive in the beginning of the night and then towards the end of the night you forget that you have knee high argyle socks on or in my friend Cassie's case you end up at a local chevron to warm up a hot pocket.
FORE!!!!!

Guess which team won..... muhahaha

Age: 25 Years old.
Theme: Jersey Shore.

A night of fist pumping. Till this day this was one of the greatest parties I have ever thrown. Everyone including myself stayed in character the whole night! We had some snooki punch, pickles and Vinny's mom's raviolis. It took me 4 spray tan, hair extensions and large fake eyelashes to prep for this party. I could tell you a ton of stories but i think the pictures speak for themselves.

Super fun right?

Now to announce my next birthday theme. Everyone please welcome......

The real housewives of SiliCONE Valley Pub crawl!!!!

Get excited Cougars. Meeeeoooow!

Happy Monday!

Thankful Thursday.

Today I am thankful for my friends at Starbucks. They don't really know that they are my friends or in fact how close we are. I go to the same Starbucks every morning. I've gone from "may I have your name?" to "remind me of your name again" to "Tiffany right?" to not even saying anything and writing the name TIFF on the cup. I'm not going to lie I roll pretty big at that Starbucks now a days. I told my best friend Jen that she needs to come visit me JUST to see how big of a baller I am at Starbucks. Now when I walk in they say "Hey tiff" and start making my grande coffee and sometimes when i walk in with someone they ask me before i get in line "hey tiff same thing? and for your friend" I'm sorry but if that's not great service then I don't know what is! The other day I was exhausted and threw them for a loop and ordered a Venti! Well he made my grande of course and then made the Venti and said "I already made this one when you walked through the door, go ahead and take both. Sorry about that....tiff" A year ago I didn't even drink coffee and now I'm on a nickname basis with a Starbucks??? This is why today I am and thankful for my Starbucks.

.

Happy Thursday!!!

A Great Investment.

A few years ago right before mothers day my brother Chris and I decided to take a different way home and it definitely paid off. We drove by a garage sale and saw this huge blue nugget......
Jackpot.

We paid $60. for a life size movie quality Sulley from Monsters Inc. I knew my mom would hate it and I knew we had to have it. I wish there was cameras filming us trying to get Sulley into Chris's Jeep. Good news was we only had to go one block and the guy told us the head comes off and that's probably the only way we can get him into the car. Needless to say there I was sitting in the passenger seat with a huge Sulley head on my lap. Our original plan was to put him in my moms closet to surprise her but once we actually tried to carry it we realized the only place we can put this huge thing is the backyard. So we set him up in his new home and waited for my mom to come home and see her gift! I couldn't believe I actually spent $60 with no hesitation what so ever. I figured we could make our money back by charging the kids in the neighborhood $5 to take a picture with him. When my mom came home we were super excited to show her the new addition to our family. I told her she needed to close her eyes and come into the backyard. In her mind she probably thought we got her that backyard swing that she always wanted. "Ok mom open your eyes!!!"

"what the hell is that?!!??"

How could you not love this gift? Here is my friend Cassie and I hanging out with our favorite Monster.

Happy Tuesday!!!!

T.G.I.F old school style

Do you remember what you did every Friday night when you were younger? I do! T to the G to the I to the fricken F. What a great evening. Every week. I used to put on my jammers then run downstairs right before my favorite shows would start. Here are some of the shows that I loved.

Family Matters. Not only was the theme song so soulful this show was pretty amazing and the best part is my dad totally reminds me of a Mexican Carl Winslow! The grandmother Estelle was full of one liners. The annoying Steven Urkel would come over to bother Laura. The only thing that was messed up in my mind is Steve invents a transformation chamber which changed him into STEPHAN UR-KEL. A.K.A He lost his glasses. lost the suspenders and combed his hair and talked in a deeper voice. Well this made Laura fall in love with him. What a shallow beeeetch.

Step by step. Day by day. This show was pretty awesome. The best part was the theme song and the opening credits of them hanging out at the theme park. Did anyone else think that it was weird that their low life cousin Cody lived in a van on the side of their house? Also Carol Foster may or may not have inspired me to become a hairdresser but unlike her i refuse to open a salon in my garage and have my hot stepson JT be the shampoo boy.

Hanging with Mr. Cooper. Now this show was on at the 9:30 time slot so a lot of the time i would not be able to stay awake for it but on those rare occasions that i went crazy i would tune in to see Raven Symone grow into the very annoying actress that she is today.

Full house. Who didn't love this show? So much action was going on and when I say action i mean hugging every time you left a room. Stephanie Tanner let Kimmy Gibbler pierce her ears then they got infected, Dj when on a crash diet for a day and fainted at the gym and then poor little Michelle fell off her horse and got amnesia! Lets not forget the hottest band ever Jesse and the rippers.

Perfect strangers. Were they gay? or just really close roommates? Well anyways this show was pretty hysterical even though i couldn't understand a word Balki was saying!

Well T.G.I.F

Happy Friday!!!

Thankful Thursday.

This Thursday I am thankful for my dog Charlie. Most people think of Charlie as borderline cute but I swear he's got a great personality. Once a kid came over to our house and said "I don't like the ugly one" (referring to charlie) Well kid, The ugly one doesn't like you either. Actually Charlie doesn't like most things, including other dogs named Kobe. There are two Kobes and whenever they step in the same room sweet little Charlie goes crazy like the girls on Rock of Love. Things Charlie does enjoy are going on camping trips, digging in the sand and watching tv. It's a little creepy how he watches tv but he will watch any show with dogs in it. Sometimes he will run downstairs when he hears the Advantix commercial. The one where that cute puppy is singing "There ain't no bugs on me" Ironically right now Charlie is going through a tough time cause he has really bad flees! Maybe I should get him some Advantix? Well That's what I'm thankful for this Thursday. Charlie and his road to recovery. I just want to clarify I'm not some creepy dog person. I'm really not. I actually don't trust people who are obsessed with their animals. Them and redheads.

Can you find charlie in this pic?

HAPPY THURSDAY!!!!
